Players will come face-to-face with many different enemies in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Most of the enemies are average opponents that can be defeated relatively quickly, but some enemies will require players to play more cautiously. These opponents are usually a single enemy with a giant health bar and a unique name above that bar.
Boss fights in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor are no joke and can have gamers running back and forth between Meditation points and the battles. Through the main story, Cal will have his skills tested by many of the game's main antagonists, and players can delve more into collectibles and treasure by taking out legendary bosses in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's side content.
9 Rick The Door Technician
Imperials never run short in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, as they are almost everywhere looking for confrontation. Rather than coming to him this time around, Cal decides to go to the Empire in search of Bode on Nova Garon, which withholds a large, secret Imperial base. While running through Nova Garon, players will come to a long hallway.
After entering the said hallway, a single melee Stormtrooper will run at Cal while letting out a battle cry. A large health bar appears with "Rick The Door Technician" above it. Though the fight is nowhere near difficult, it's a satirical occurrence that may reference Elden Ring's Rick, Soldier Of God.
8 The Rancor
The Rancor is one of Star Wars' many horrific faunas that haunt the franchise's main protagonists. In Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker had to fight against a Rancor. In the fight, Luke even lodged a bone in the Rancor's mouth.
That scene is significant, because once Cal Kestis finds himself battling a legendary Rancor on the planet Koboh, players will be able to Force Throw a bone into the Rancor's mouth, which is an easter egg to the original trilogy movie. The fight is very difficult, but also great (and rewarding) to play against a creature as Luke had once before.
7 Dagan Gera (1st Encounter)
While exploring Koboh, Cal will inevitably come across a hidden Jedi chamber that was hiding away a dark secret. Eventually, Cal brings forth the at secret, which turns out to be the Jedi Dagan Gera, who was asleep in a sort of stasis chamber.
Upon being released, Dagan bleeds out his Kyber Crystal and immediately starts to attack Cal. The fight doesn't go on for too long, as Cal might have had the upper hand due to Dagan being weak at the moment. Quickly, Dagan Gera retreats.
6 The Ninth Sister
The Ninth Sister Inquisitor is a former antagonist that fans fought against in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Initially, it seemed as though Cal got rid of the Imperial Inquisitor for good until she showed up at the beginning of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
After murdering several of his allies in front of him, Cal immediately confronts the Ninth Sister head-on. After a quick tutorial fight, Cal easily defeats the Ninth Sister and makes sure she never came back by beheading her.
5 Rayvis
As seen in the trailers, Rayvis is the leader of the Bedlam Raiders who is one of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's main antagonists. After helping Dagan Gera retreat from Cal, players would eventually track the two villains down on Koboh.
Rayvis confronts the Jedi Knight, and thus the Rayvis boss fight begins. Like other Souls-like games, Rayvis' boss fight has two phases. This boss fight is declared as one of the most difficult but is as equally engaging.
4 Dagan Gera (2nd Encounter)
To save Zee from Dagan Gera, Cal, and BD-1 track down the one-armed Jedi on the vast planet Koboh. After partially saving Zee from her binds, Dagan Gera appears and sends Cal flying onto a platform, obviously built for a boss fight. In this fight, Dagan Gera is more at his true strength and skill.
Players will be parrying left and right as Dagan Gera attacks consistently. Though Dagan is more skilled in this fight, Cal eventually walks away as the subtle winner.
3 Dagan Gera (3rd Encounter)
In the final confrontation with Dagan Gera, Cal is assisted by Bode Akuna. This time, Dagan Gera is not only at his true strength as a former Jedi, but he is desperate and close to making his dreams come true, making him an even more vicious enemy.
In the final fight with Dagan Gera, gamers will be relentlessly attacked as Dagan uses the Force and his aggressive lightsaber skills against Cal. Dagan even goes so far as to turn the environment into a confusing, upside-down battlefield for players, all by his strength in the Force.
2 Bode Akuna
In one of the best video game plot twists of the past decade, Bode Akuna is revealed to be one of the Jedi who survived Order 66. Not only that, but Bode is armed with a red lightsaber, meaning he has given in to the Dark Side, and is also working with the Empire.
Bode fights off Cal and gives the Empire the new Jedi Archives location as he escapes with the key to Tanalorr. In the fight against Bode, Cal partially uses the Dark Side due to his anger and frustration with Bode after he brought the Archives down, along with Cere.
1 Darth Vader
In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Darth Vader makes a short, but important, appearance as he kills Trilla, and chases Cere and Cal. Though they get away, Vader eventually tracks down Cere with the help of Bode and confronts her on Jedha.
In this boss fight, players are able to take on the role of Cere Junda, one of the game's strongest characters, as she fights against Darth Vader, who had three different phases in his boss fight. The boss fight represents Darth Vader's power amazingly, as well as how skilled Cere is as a Jedi.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
