With the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom earlier in May 2023, for the Nintendo Switch exclusively, fans were able to see the extensive work put into the successor of Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that had taken the world by storm a few years ago, in 2017.

Tears of the Kingdom has seen great improvements in many departments. There is a multitude of new areas to explore, including Sky Islands, which makes the discovery aspect of the game even better. Link acquires new abilities to help him through his journey, such as Ultrahand or Ascend, the world is filled with more items and creatures to discover, and much more. And, despite all of the new additional content found in this game, players can meet old characters that they probably know very well by now, like Beedle.

Who is Beedle?

Beedle is not, in any way, a new character to the Legend of Zelda franchise. In fact, he is a commonly recurring character across many games. His first appearance ever was in 2002’s The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and he has, since then, made appearances in the titles of The Minish Cap, The Phantom Hourglass, The Spirit Tracks, Skyward Sword, Breath of the Wild, and now, Tears of the Kingdom as well. He’s also made an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
