Visit Harth

The first objective is to visit Harth in a lodge at coordinates -3581, 2252, 0141, just north of Rito Village. This location can be easily reached by using TotK's paraglider to sail northward, and the lodge is adjacent to two large bonfires.

Find Tulin

Harth will send players in search of Tulin, who can be found on Talonto Peak at coordinates -3152, 2688, 0567. While there are many ways that Tears of the Kingdom players can go about reaching this location, here is a path that leads directly to it:

  • Head northeast from Harth's lodge and enter the Hebra South Summit Cave at coordinates -3384, 2485, 0309.
  • Climb upward through the cave, using Fire Fruit to burn thorns as needed.
  • After finding Gesane, continue ascending to reach the exit.
  • Climb northward toward the "lone cedar tree on Talonto Peak," using the Ascend ability when possible.

Get Tulin's Bow Back

Upon locating Tulin, players will gain access to his Gust ability, which makes it easy to glide across long distances and can be performed by interacting with the Rito ("Let's go!") and then interacting with him again (Gust!). Fans should now use this ability to send Link eastward, land on the nearby platform, and fire an arrow at the flying monster to recover Tulin's bow.

Go With Tulin to the Sky Islands

Now that Tulin's bow is back with its owner, players must turn their focus toward reaching the Sky Islands. This climb is made much easier by using Tulin's Gust and TotK's Ascend ability, and here is a path that players can follow:

  • Gust northeastward to reach a series of stone platforms that are embedded into a cliff face.
  • Gust across those platforms to reach coordinates -2939, 2872, 0557 and Ascend.
  • Continue to walk northeastward to reach a position that overlooks a small enemy camp.
  • Gust over the camp to reach the platforms on the east cliff face.
  • Gust, climb, and Ascend to scale those platforms, finishing with an Ascend near coordinates -2856, 2971, 0630.
  • Walk to the south and climb the stone structure near coordinates -2784, 2893, 0738.
  • Gust eastward to the platform, and then use Gust and Ascend as needed to climb into the Rising Island Chain.

Into the Cloud

Not long after entering the Rising Island Chain, Zelda fans will be instructed to enter the cloud. While this climb uses strategies that are very similar to those that have been employed thus far, there are a couple of tricky spots that players should be aware of. More details on those spots can be found in this route:

  • Climb the stairs and jump on top of the ship at coordinates -2859, 3008, 0876 to get a boost.
  • Glide to the Mayaumekis Shrine at coordinates -2938, 3050, 0896 and activate it.
  • Glide, gust, and climb northward to reach a second ship at coordinates -3084, 3235, 0889.
  • Continue gusting and gliding northward to reach a platform with three blocks (coordinates -3231, 3322, 0913).
  • Use TotK's Ultrahand ability to stack the blocks and Ascend to the platform above.
  • Alternatively, break the hanging icicles with arrows and Ascend through the cleared surfaces.
  • Glide, gust, and climb to keep crossing platforms.
  • At coordinates -3369, 3485, 0993, jump on the ice multiple times to break through and gain access to a bouncy ship. Players will employ this strategy several more times as they continue to climb.
  • After the ice-breaking section, bounce eastward across a couple ships and then resume gusting, gliding, and climbing.
  • Players will encounter a path at coordinates -3169, 3252, 1091 that will fall apart as they run across.
  • Continue climbing to reach coordinates -3020, 3171, 1111. There are materials for making a hot-air balloon on this platform, and players should use Ultrahand to attach a Flame Emitter to a metal grate and then place a balloon on top.
  • Hit the device to send the balloon upward and glide to the platform at coordinates -2998, 3222, 1137.
  • Ascend through the vertical column, climb the structure at the top, and bounce on the ship at coordinates -3024, 3238, 1227.
  • Glide westward, using the moving ships to reach the ice at coordinates -3198, 3356, 1205.
  • Break through the ice, bounce, and activate the Kahatanaum Shrine at coordinates -3289, 3426, 1347.
  • Bounce on the ship at coordinates -3297, 3385, 1366.
  • Gust and glide to bounce between the stationary and moving ships, working to get above the cloud.
  • Glide into the hole at the top of the cloud to access the Wind Temple, a dungeon in Tears of the Kingdom.

Wind Temple

It is now time for players to take on the Legendary Stormwind Ark, a task that centers around releasing five locks and defeating a boss. If a fan finds themselves stuck during this section, it is recommended that they reference this full walkthrough of Tears of the Kingdom's Wind Temple. Once players reach the end of that temple, they should simply collect the Heart Container and interact with Tulin to trigger a cutscene that marks the end off the Tulin of Rito Village main quest.
