Once The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players make it back to Hyrule after completing the tutorial shrines in the sky islands, they'll get to a central area known as Lookout Landing. After going through some story stuff, they can access the Emergency Shelter, where they can speak to an NPC named Burmano to accept a Side Quest called 'Today's Menu.'

Head into the Emergency Shelter to find Burmano near a cooking pot --the NPC wants to cook a special fruit and mushroom mix, but he needs an apple.

While apples are fairly common in Tears of the Kingdom, some players might not have one on their person at this time, so we'll show players where to find one really fast to give to Burmano to complete the side quest.

Where To Find an Apple Near Lookout Landing

After speaking to Burmano, players should leave the shelter and immediately head out of the Lookout Landing via the southern exit/entrance.

There's a cluster of trees not that far southwest of Lookout Landing, so players only need to walk through a field of grass to find it. There are a bunch of larger trees here that will not have any apples on them, but we managed to find a single smaller tree that had a couple of apples for the taking. The exact coordinates for the tree are -0413, -0095, 0025.

For those willing to dish out some Rupees, apples can also be purchased from Mubs the shopkeeper at Lookout Landing. They cost 12 Rupees each.

Once the apple tree is found, players can either attack the tree with a weapon to knock the apples down or simply climb it to pick the fruit by hand. After getting at least one, go ahead and return to the Emergency Shelter to deliver the goods to Burmano.

After giving him the apple, he'll reward players with a Fruit and Mushroom Mix dish, which can be eaten from the menu to restore two of Link's hearts. Players can make the meal for themselves by throwing a combination of mushrooms and apples into a cooking pot --the more mushrooms/apples used, the more hearts the dish will recover.

To eat the dish, open the menu with the + button, tab over to the Food section, and then choose to Eat the dish. Make sure to only eat it if Link needs the hearts, otherwise, it won't have any positive effects.
