The Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is buried in snow, and this predicament prevents players from entering the structure through its front door. Fortunately, there is another way to access the tower's interior, and it requires only a short detour. This guide is here to provide full details on that detour, and it will help players enter The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower and get it activated.

Players that are attempting to get inside the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower should turn their attention to the Meadela's Mantle Cave, which can be entered just north of the tower at coordinates -3996, -1257, 0427. After traveling into this cave a short distance, fans will encounter a flowing stream, and they should use TotK's Ultrahand ability to grab a wood platform from the nearby material supply and place in the water. Players should now hop onto the platform and let it carry them down the stream and over a small waterfall.

In this lower portion of the cave, players will see four wooden braces emerging from the water, and there is a wooden square on the ceiling between them. This square denotes the bottom of the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, and the goal is to get underneath it and use TotK's Ascend ability to send Link inside. To get into that position, players should use Ultrahand to place their wooden raft against a suitable brace, as seen in the image that is below, and then make a quick swim to it.

Once a fan is inside the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, they should simply interact with the pedestal to activate it. Players should then examine the blue circle on the ground to initiate Link's scanning of the area. This will cause the Gerudo Highlands region to be shown on the map, and it will turn the Skyview Tower into a fast travel point in Tears of the Kingdom.

To note, there are a couple of additional items in the Meadela's Mantle Cave that players may want to address before leaving this area. The first of those items is a nice bow, which can be looted for a chest that fans will pass by as they float down the top portion of stream. The other item is a Bubbul Gem, and it can be claimed by dispatching the Bubbulfrog that is hanging on the cave's ceiling.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
