Activating Skyview Towers is important for those hoping to reveal more of the map in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. There are fifteen of them in total, with each requiring a slightly different strategy in order to activate. Most of these towers require players to solve a puzzle or two, but the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower takes a decidedly different approach.

The Hyrule Field Skyview Tower is located slap bang in the middle of a Bokoblin stronghold, meaning that players will need to either fight or sneak their way through a horde of dangerous enemies in order to reach the tower. This may seem a little daunting for those who are new to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but with the right strategy, it can actually be relatively straightforward.

The Hyrule Field Skyview Tower is located to the south of Lookout Landing, right in the middle of the Hyrule Field area. Players can reach it by gliding south from the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, or by fast traveling to the Mayachin Shrine and then making the short trip south on foot or by horse. Players have a few options when it comes to entering the Bokoblin encampment that surrounds the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower. They can either climb the wall and try and sneak in through the front gate or attack the tower head-on. The latter is arguably a lot simpler, as players are able to use the camp's defense systems against its occupants with just a little bit of planning.

If players run up the wooden structure near the entrance to the encampment, the enemies will give chase, which is exactly what players want. Once they get to the bottom of the ramp, the Bokoblins will release a spiked iron ball, at which point, players can jump and glide out of the way as the ball takes out their pursuers. They can then fuse the spike ball to one of their weapons and use it to take on the Bokoblins who come out of the camp while they're still on the ramp, as it's very easy to knock them off here.

The biggest threat here is the Boss Bokoblin, who hangs out in the area to the right of the camp's entrance. Players can try to fight it head-on but may find it easier to just run straight past it and open the door to the tower before being spotted. Alternatively, players can attack the encampment during a storm, which will lead to the Boss Bokoblin being struck by lightning due to its metal spike ball, or at night, when the Boss Bokoblin tends to be asleep. Whichever they choose, they'll be able to activate the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower without having to get their hands dirty.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
