The key to fixing the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower is removing a platform that is resting on top of the structure. The first step toward performing that action is reaching the platform, and there a couple ways that can be done. Here are details on what is likely to be the easiest way, and fans that follow along should reach the top of the tower in no time:

  1. Get underneath the low platform on the east side of the tower.
  2. Use TotK's Ascend ability to get on top of the platform.
  3. Use Ultrahand to grab one of the rockets from the platform, rotate it so that the tip points upward, and attach it to the top of the platform.
  4. Hit the rocket to activate it.

As soon as the rocket-powered platform is above the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower, players should jump off and use TotK's paraglider to land safely underneath the platform that is on top of the structure. From this position, players can easily grab the platform with Ultrahand and move it away from its point of rest.

Alternatively, players can use the Recall ability on their rocket platform, stopping the rewind function when they are parallel to the platform on top of the tower. Fans can then use TotK's Ultrahand ability to transfer a rocket to the platform that must be moved and then activate the device to send it flying. While this approach is undoubtedly more time-consuming than the previously-detailed option, it works just as well.

Regardless of exactly how a Tears of the Kingdom player removes the platform from the top of the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower, it will be back up and running when the job is done. Fans are then free to interact with the device inside the tower and examine the blue circle on the ground to shoot Link into the sky, reveal the map of the region, and unlock the tower as a fast travel point.
