All across Hyrule, there is no shortage of things for players to discover as they explore Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Scattered all over Hyrule are shrines that are exactly the same as they were in Breath of the Wild. By completing shrines, players can increase their health and stamina bars. Each and every shrine provides players a well-designed series of puzzles to overcome by using abilities like Ultrahand, Ascend, and Recall.
While some shrines will require players to just use one ability, there are somewhere players will have to use several abilities to reach the end. In order to complete the Sonapan Shrine, Tears of the Kingdom players will have to use a combination of Ascend and Ultrahand to solve the puzzles that stand between them and the Light of Blessing. For players struggling with it, this walkthrough will show players how to clear the Sonapan Shrine.
Where To Find the Sonapan Shrine
The Sonapan Shrine can be found west from Lookout Landing, but it is a good distance away. The exact coordinates for Sonapan Shrine are -1921, -0354, 0228. There is a path nearby that players can use to go up the hill toward the Shrine. As far as landmarks go, there are a bunch of trees with apples next to the shrine. Activate the shrine and the fast travel point, and then go in once ready.
Sonapan Shrine Walkthrough
For the Sonapan Shrine, players will have to use both Ascend and Ultrahand to solve the puzzles. First, make sure to equip Ascend and use it to reach the next floor. Before doing anything else, go to the left and use Ultrahand to pull the block over toward the treasure chest in the wall. Ultrahand cannot be used on the treasure chest.
Next, go to the right and grab the block. Take it over to the block on the left and combine the edges as depicted in the image above. Equip Ascend and use it to get to the top of the block on the left. Jump down to the lower block and open the treasure chest to obtain five arrows.
Disconnect the two blocks and use Ultrahand to place the block on top of the platform as depicted above. Equip Ascend to jump up and go through both the platform and the block to reach the entrance to the next room.
Use Ultrahand to pull the block on the left out and put it in the water between the torches on the wall. Go into the alcove where the block was and use Ascend to reach the top of the platform. Jump down and use the paraglider to go down toward the block that is in the water. Once on the block, use Ascend to reach the top of the platform above it. Go up the stairs and interact with the altar to complete the shrine.
