Elements have always played an important role in the Legend of Zelda series, and this is once again the case in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The importance of elements can be seen not only through the game's main story but also through many of Tears of the Kingdom's shrines, including the Mogawak Shrine in the Lanayru Great Spring area.

As its title might suggest, completing the Mogawak Shrine will require players to harness the power of water in order to generate the electricity needed to power certain devices. Though it actually ends up being a relatively straightforward shrine when compared to some of the others in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, some players may still need a bit of help.

Players will be able to find the Mogawak Shrine slap bang in the center of Zora's Domain, which is in the Lanayru Great Spring area to the east of the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower. The shrine itself is on the ground level beneath the ramp leading up to the raised section of the domain, making it an ideal fast-travel location. The coordinates for the Mogawak Shrine are 3300, 0423, 0112.

To complete the Mogawak Shrine, players will need to charge a depleted energy cell by harnessing the power of water. To do so, they'll want to pick up the empty cell from the ground in the center of the shrine and place it on the circular platform near the stream of water falling down to their right. They'll then need to use Link's Ultrahand ability to lift the lever beneath the water so that the yellow line lights up. This signifies that the battery is charging, and, once it's full, players should remove it from the stone platform to prevent it from losing charge.

Before heading up to the Mogawak Shrine's statue, players may want to open up the nearby chest, which contains a piece of Opal. To do so, they'll want to take the fully charged energy cell to the area opposite the charging station and place the cell on the stone platform on the left. They can then use Ultrahand to grab the giant metal ball that's under the water near where they're standing and move it close to the one on the other side. This will provide a current to the door look barring access to the chest, allowing players to swim across and open it up.

After opening the chest, players will need to recharge the energy cell using the same method as before. They can then go and place it on the stone platform near the giant elevator, using Recall on the elevator once it comes back down to ride it up to the top. Alternatively, they can place the energy cell down next to the stone platform, climb onto the elevator, then use Ultrahand to move the energy cell into place. Both are viable options and will lead to players completing the Mogawak Shrine and obtaining another Light of Blessing.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
