Mayaotaki Shrine Walkthrough
In order to reach the Mayaotaki Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, players will need to make their way through the frozen North Lomei Labyrinth, which is covered in Gloom. There are many routes players can take to reach the center of the maze, with some much easier to navigate than others.
The first method is to follow the trail of Hylian Pine Cones left by a Zonai researcher, as shown above. This is not the most direct route, but it will lead players safely through the labyrinth's corridors.
If players choose to follow take a different path toward the northwestern area of the maze, they may encounter the Gloom Spawn lurking around a corner.
The quickest method for reaching the Mayaotaki Shrine is to climb or fly to the top of the labyrinth and head toward the star on the map above. Players are able to drop to the corridor below at the coordinates -0766, 3521, 0234, which is where they will find the latter part of the researcher's trail.
Players will know they've reached the entrance to the central chamber when they come to a ladder lit with braziers. Here, they can get into the room to find the Mayaotaki Shrine as well as a Zonai terminal that will trigger the "The North Lomei Prophecy" side quest.
Inside the shrine, players will find a free Light of Blessing from Rauru's Blessing as well as a chest containing a Diamond. After exiting the shrine, they can also find a hole in the ceiling above the shrine, which they can follow to find a hidden chest with a Big Battery Zonai Device.
