Just like in Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom follows a similar open world adventure style of gameplay. As such, there is always something new for players to find as they explore Hyrule and try to find Zelda. Korok Seeds have returned and so have shrines. Shrines are essentially mini-dungeons that can be completed in a short amount of time.
There are over 150 shrines to find and complete in Tears of the Kingdom. Since completing shrines is part of how players gain more health and stamina, they will want to complete as many as they can. Some are easy to find, while others are hidden out of sight. The Mayausiy Shrine is a good example of a hidden shrine. This guide will cover where to find the Mayausiy Shrine along with how to complete it.
How to Find Mayausiy Shrine
The Mayausiy Shrine is hidden deep within the Forgotten Temple. The exact coordinates for the Mayausiy Shrine are -1165, 2602, -0083. Several packs of Bokoblins dwell in the Forgotten Temple, so players should make sure to be ready for a fight. Stocking up on some weapons and arrows is recommended. The shrine is near the end of the Forgotten Temple in the room before the one with the large broken pillar.
Mayausiy Shrine Walkthrough
For the Mayausiy Shrine, players will need to make use of the Ultrahand ability to solve the puzzles that await them. In the first room, there will be an object on the left and one on the right.
Players must make the object on the right match the one on the left by picking up the pieces next to it with Ultrahand. Rotate and move the two pieces in the order depicted in the two images above. If done correctly, the door to the next chamber will open.
Players do not need to fuse the blocks together. The moment they are positioned correctly, they will fuse automatically.
In the chamber ahead, there will be a single Construct. Try to stun it with arrows, as it will attempt to grab the nearby Flame Emitter and use it as a weapon. Defeat it and move on to reach the next puzzle.
Up ahead, players will have to complete the structure on the right to make it match the structure on the left. This time, however, players must use three pieces to accomplish this instead of two.
Before starting the puzzle, grab two of the blocks and use them to get up onto a platform in the upper right corner of the room. On this platform is a chest that contains a Large Zonai Charge.
After that, move the blocks and insert them as depicted in the three images above. This will complete the puzzle, and players will be free to approach the altar and claim their prize.
