In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will need to complete Shrines to gain Light of Blessings, which are used to enhance Link's Health and Stamina. Each Shrine gives players a different challenge and obstacle to overcome, and many require creative use of Link's various powers.

One such Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the Soryotanog Shrine, found above Gerudo Town in the Desert. This Shrine requires players to learn how to remove piles of sand and introduces players to the use of Zonai Devices to redirect light and activate light panels, which serve as switches that open doors leading further into the mini-puzzle room.

In order to complete this Shrine, players will first need to use Ultrahand to grab the partially buried fan in the first room. It is stuck in a pile of sand, but pulling it upward with Ultrahand will pry it loose. Once it's free, hit it once to turn it on and then use Ultrahand to point it at the sand piles around the room, revealing a chest containing a small key.

This key can then be used to open the door to the next part of the Shrine, where a Zonai Construct waits to ambush the player. Take it out and then bring in the fan to clear the sand piles in the room and find a Mirror.

The Mirror can be used to redirect light beams, but there's no light to redirect right now. Players should check the corner on the right side of the room to find a sand pile concealing the entrance to another room. Inside, players can find another Zonai Construct holding a Fan Guster.

This is a fusable weapon consisting of any one-handed weapon and a Zonai Fan, which can be swung to create gusts of wind and more efficiently clear away the sand. Grab a Fan and bring it into this room, pointing it upwards and turning it on to create an updraft Link can ride to reach a platform with a gear.

This gear is currently jammed in place by some sand, so players should use the Fan Guster to blow away the sand and get the gear moving, opening the door nearby and granting access to the Shrine's bonus chest.

Heading back to the previous room, players should look for a ledge on the left side and put the fan under it to create another updraft, leading up and allowing access to a room where another Construct is waiting.

Defeat the Construct and clear all the sand in this room to reveal a light beam and another mirror. Place the mirror in the light beam and shine it through the bars that look into the previous room, then use a fan to ride back up to the ledge and return to that room.

Back in this central room, players should use Ultrahand to grab the mirror in the room and use it to redirect the beam into the light panel above the locked door, causing it to open and allow access to the end of the shrine.
