In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, three labyrinths dot the edges of Hyrule. Within each one, there's a shrine waiting for Link to complete. The Motsusis Shrine lies hidden for players to find at the edge of the arid Gerudo Desert, which is plagued with wild fluctuations in temperature.
Motsusis Shrine Location in TotK
In Tears of the Kingdom, players can find the Motsusis Shrine in the South Lomei Labyrinth, which is located in a canyon on the eastern edge of Gerudo. The entrance to the labyrinth can be found at -1794, -3333, 0072, where the player will also find a stone tablet and a research camp.
The nearby Kitawak Shrine is the closest fast travel location for players to quickly get to the South Lomei Labyrinth. Players could also visit the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower and glide to the southeast to reach its entrance.
The labyrinth can be hard to spot from a distance as it exists entirely within the canyon and blends in quite well. However, using the game's map should allow players to locate it with ease.
Motsusis Shrine Walkthrough
At the entrance, players will find a stone tablet and notebook next to a research camp. The notebook explains that a researcher has ventured into the South Lomei Labyrinth and marked their trail with various nuts and acorns.
The researcher's trail is highlighted on the map above, and players can follow it to reach the center of the labyrinth with no issues. However, more curious players can explore different branches to find treasure or quicker routes.
Alternatively, players can reach the Motsusis Shrine even faster by climbing on top of the structure and dropping into the maze at the location marked by a star on the above map. This should place Link at the coordinates 1773, -3470, 0071, which is near the tail end of the marked trailer.
Players will find one final research notebook before reaching the central chamber of the South Lomei Labyrinth.
Players will find the Motsusis Shrine across from a large Zonai terminal that triggers the "The South Lomei Prophecy" side quest when activated.
Inside the shrine, players will find Rauru's Blessing and a Large Zonai Charge in the gifted chest. They can then approach the statue at the back of the shrine to receive their Light of Blessing with no further challenges to be overcome.
