The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom pays homage to previous Zelda games, even if it visually clashes with the rest of the game. The recently released remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is well represented here with an armor set of its chibi version of Link.

The Link's Awakening armor set can be obtained in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom by scanning the Link's Awakening version of Link amiibo. Those that do not have it can still earn it in-game through a series of quests. This guide will show players where and how to get each piece of the Link's Awakening armor set.

The set can be earned through three quests, each rewarding with one piece. Players do not have to be very far in the game to get each piece, but some tools are required to make it easier. Players should have the paraglider, the Ultrahand ability, a wood-chopping weapon, and a few Skyview Towers unlocked to fast travel between points.

Mask of Awakening

The mask can be found at the Thundra Plateau in Hyrule Ridge. The Plateau will have a few trees and four pillars in a square surrounding a curious patch of land. Cut down four trees and use Ultrahand to link them together by the ends, creating one giant pole.

Lean the giant pole against the south pillar. The next part can only be done after noon, so create a fire to pass the time to noon if necessary. Next, climb up the south pillar and Ultrahand the makeshift pole so it is floating vertically in the direction of the north pillar. A cutscene will occur when the pole's shadow touches the north pillar, and the ground in the center will open up.

The new passageway is a small cave with a tiny dwelling containing a treasure chest. The chest holds the Mask of Awakening with an armor stat of three.

Tunic of Awakening

The tunic is located in the Ancient Columns within the Tabantha Frontier. The area is home to a Gleeok but will be out of range for where players can get the tunic. One of the columns has a pressure-sensitive button on top of it.

The coordinates for the specific column are (-3484, 0422, 0292). Climbing up the column and stepping on the button will open another patch of ground nearby with an uncovered cave. The cave also has a tiny dwelling containing a treasure chest with the Tunic of Awakening. This chest piece has an armor stat of three.

Trousers of Awakening

The final piece can be found at the Coliseum Ruins southwest of Hyrule Field. Players can launch from the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower to get there easier. The coliseum also has a Gleeok that does not have to be defeated but requires the player to be fast to trigger the next cave.

In the back of the coliseum on the ground floor will be a sword leaning up against the wall with a statue of a soldier to the left of it. Use Ultrahand to have the sword pointing down and place it up against the soldier. It may take a little bit to trigger, but a cutscene will play when successful.

The ground next to it will open up with a new cave and a treasure chest containing the Trousers of Awakening. This last piece also has an armor stat of three.
