Where to Find the Barbarian Armor in Tears of the Kingdom

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can acquire the Barbarian Armor chest piece by traveling to the coordinates 0486, 0730, 0041, just across Hylia River and in the Crenel Hills region. Here they will find a large cave entrance on the hillside, surrounded by massive mineral veins. Players can destroy these veins using a weapon, especially one fused with a boulder, to gather materials, including the valuable Luminous Stone.

When players enter, they will discover the Crenel Hills Cave and can follow a path down into a large inner chamber. The center of the room features a shallow pool of water, and there are several more luminous mineral veins on the cave’s outer walls. Moving toward the middle of the clearing will awaken a Stone Talus, but players who prefer to avoid combat can steer clear of it by sticking close to the outer walls of the cave.

The player should descend the ramp onto the cave floor, climbing down at a sizable cluster of minerals and proceeding forward along the right wall. Upon reaching the back of the cave, at coordinates 0599, 0782, 0010, the player will find another prominent cluster of glowing stones embedded in the cave wall. The presence of flagged spears on either side of this mineral vein makes the correct location easy to spot.

The most straightforward and recommended method for breaking these stones is to use the Fuse ability to attach a Bomb Flower to an arrow, then shoot it at the mineral vein. Bomb Flowers can be found near the large pillars in the center of the room, and players can acquire at least one Bomb Flower without drawing the attention of the Stone Talus.

Once the mineral vein has been blown apart, a hidden passage leading to a secret cave will be revealed. The player can then climb up the wall into the hole and reach the chest containing the Barbarian Armor. Before leaving the cave, the player should remember to take out the Bubbulfrog and claim its Bubbul Gem.

Where to Find Barbarian Helm in Tears of the Kingdom

To acquire the Barbarian Helm, the player should make their way to the Robred Dropoff Cave located at the coordinates (2495, -1483, 0014), southeast of Kakariko Village. As the player approaches the cave, they will notice a large group of stone statues positioned to face away from the entrance.

Inside Robred Dropoff Cave, there is a carved stone that advises Link about the presence of treasure beyond the path indicated by the stone statues. This stone provides a clue for solving the cave's puzzle.

The initial puzzle with the stone statues is straightforward. The statues are all facing toward the right, indicating that the player should proceed through the rightmost cave passage. However, the second set of statues presents more of a challenge, with multiple groups facing various directions.

To solve this puzzle, the player should follow the guidance of the group of three statues. These statues are positioned towards a large wall of breakable stones. By crashing through this wall with a blunt weapon or bomb arrows, a path will be cleared deeper into the cave. In case the player hasn’t brought either, there are nearby boulders that can be fused to a weapon to make quick work of this task.

After a brief respite, players will reach a large room filled with monsters. Here the player will need to break a hole in the cluster of breakable rocks at the center of the room. Use a bomb arrow or grab a nearby Bomb Flower to destroy the rocks from a distance. Alternatively, there are explosive barrels around the edges of the room that can be thrown at the rocks, even without clearing the enemies, if done carefully. Doing so will certainly get the attention of the nearby monsters, but that’s their problem, and they won’t follow the player into the hole.

Drop into the newly revealed hole, and the player will land in a small pond. Follow the path deeper into the cave, and the player will reach the final statue puzzle. The player should head to the small platform at the far right, in front of the group of three statues, then use the Ascend ability. They will ascend to a higher level of the cave and face three statues yet again, this time with the treasure chest behind them. Head past the statues and claim the chest and the Barbarian Helm within.

Where to Find the Barbarian Leg Wraps in Tears of the Kingdom

To find the Barbarian Leg Wraps in Tears of the Kingdom, the player should head to the coordinates 3932, -2073, 0127, directly east of Hateno Village. Here the player will discover a cave entrance to the right of a small pond. It’s important to know that the treasure chest at the end of the cave is encased in ice, so the player will need to be prepared with a method of melting it.

The player should enter the Walnot Mountains Cave, where they’ll find a handful of Horriblins they can either defeat or run past. After the Horriblins have been dealt with or ignored, the player should stay on the upper path and head toward an easily visible large chunk of ice.

Attached to the nearby left wall is an Ice Like the player will want to defeat. It’s possible to reach the treasure room without defeating him, but he is still somewhat in the way. Once players defeat him, they can easily jump into the treasure room, where they’ll find the chest encased in ice.

There are several methods available to melt the ice, including fire arrows, bomb fruits, fusing a fire fruit to a wooden weapon and striking the chest, or other creative solutions. Once the chest is unlocked, collect the Barbarian Leg Wraps, and Link can Ascend out of the cave. It's important to note that the area just above the treasure room is extremely cold, so it is crucial to be adequately equipped to withstand these harsh conditions.
