What Does the Vah Naboris Divine Helm Do?

Players can wear the Vah Naboris Divine Helm to provide a layer of Shock Resistance to Link. Like the other Divine Helms, this helmet is not part of a matching armor set, so there is no matching bonus. According to the item's description, the Vah Naboris Divine Helm is said to deepen the bond with the Gerudo when worn by a Hylian.

Players will want to begin their search for the Vah Naboris Divine Helm in the southwestern part of Hyrule. Rather than crossing the vast expanse of Hyrule's desert, the quickest way for players to reach the helmet is by fast traveling to the Mayamats Shrine (-4639, -1510, 0452) near the cliffs that separate the Gerudo Desert from the Gerudo Highlands.

Traveling directly south from the shrine will lead players to a giant skeletal ribcage over some ruins. After disposing of a Shock Like hanging from the giant bones, players must look for a hole in the floor sealed with breakable rocks just below the opening.

An explosion from Bomb Flowers or Remote Bombs should open the hole to allow Link to drop inside.

Players will then find themselves in the West Gerudo Underground Ruins, a sizable catacomb full of destructible stone.

If players proceed directly forward, they will run into a grated door that only opens from the other side. Through this door, they can spot the chest they're after. Any sort of explosive will do wonders for navigating these ruins. Otherwise, the rubble will reveal plenty of Rusty Claymores and rocks to combine with the Fuse ability as they progress.

Various statues holding Rusty Claymores, as pictured above, will indicate the direction players need to move to reach the chest. In the main room, players will want to begin smashing through the wall of rocks on the right side to begin their progression.

Eventually, they will reach an open area containing a Shock Like. From the direction they entered that room, players should turn left and continue until they hit a grated wall.

From here, players will proceed left along that wall until they reach the edge. When they do so, players can continue mining in the same direction to find a chamber with a Bubbelfrog hopping about, or they can move to the other side of the wall and begin mining in the opposite direction.

The Bubbelfrog chamber is a dead end, so players will have to follow the latter option eventually. After a good bit of mining in the other direction, players will come to an impassable wall. Players should then turn left and mine a few more rocks to find a statue pointing down a long open tunnel.

Breaking the rocks at the end of this tunnel will reveal another open chamber with a chest containing the Vah Naboris Divine Helm.

To leave the ruins, use Ultrahand to move the lever in the center of the room. This will open the grated door mentioned previously and will break any remaining rocks in its general vicinity. Players are then free to proceed back to the entrance and climb out.
