In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can find all kinds of powerful weapons and armor, including some familiar faces from older Zelda titles. One particularly useful weapon that is surprisingly easy to track down is the Dusk Bow, returning from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

The Dusk Bow is one of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's more powerful bows, especially considering how easy it is to find once players know where to look. The Dusk Bow has a base attack power of 30, so grabbing it early can make arrows incredibly deadly. Players will need to head into Hyrule Castle to nab it, but they shouldn't have too much difficulty getting to it with help from the Ascend ability.

How to Get the Dusk Bow in Tears of the Kingdom

Players seeking out the Dusk Bow are going to need to infiltrate Hyrule Castle, but this isn't nearly as tricky as it initially sounds. Players can use the Skyview Tower in Lookout Landing to launch into the air and soar down toward the Castle without too much trouble. Players should land on the left side of the castle, when viewing it from the direction of the Skyview Tower, and keep heading upwards to find the Sanctum. (It's easiest to reach from the circular structure opposite Princess Zelda's Study, which can be climbed to easily get to the Sanctum entrance.)

Once in the Throne Room, players will need to keep climbing, heading up the stairs and through the Gloom (If sprinting, Link will only take 1/4 heart of damage traversing the stairs), using the Ascend Power to travel upwards and get on top of the throne room.

Keep heading up from here, using Ascend and Link's climbing skills to scale the castle bell tower. There's a chunk missing from this spire near the top, and the Dusk Bow can be found lodged in this nook.

How to Replace the Dusk Bow

Of course, now that players have acquired the Dusk Bow, they might be concerned about breaking it, but fortunately, this isn't as big of a problem as it seems. The Bow can be reacquired by purchasing it from a Bargainer Statue after it breaks, allowing players to grab it again whenever they need it, as long as they can afford it. It can also be reobtained from the top of Hyrule Castle after a Blood Moon resets the items.

This is similar to many other unique weapons in the game, which can be replaced in the same way, while unique armor and shields can instead be reacquired from Cece's shop in Hateno Village. Players should always remember that unique gear can be re-obtained in this way if they find themselves short on weapons or shields.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for Nintendo Switch.
